AF: Land might collapse in the Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Aqsa Foundation for Waqf (endowment) and heritage has warned that the unending Israeli excavations under the Aqsa Mosque and in its vicinity could lead to land collapses in the holy site.

The Foundation, in a report, recalled that the land caved in at the UNRWA school for girls in occupied Jerusalem early February, only few meters away from the southern area of the holy site.

It said that field and inspection visits by its members proved that the Silwan summit after ten years of constant Israeli digging in its vicinity has turned into a hollow summit that could lead to its complete disintegration.

The Foundation said that its report monitored the real conditions in Silwan hoping that the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic people would seriously and swiftly move to save Jerusalem in general and the Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity in particular.
